A little bit of what is going on...

Running a tiny press like mine is a labor of love and passion. It has to be. I rarely make any profit. I almost always spend more (of my own money) than I will ever recuperate. I work overtime at my day job to pay for covers and editing and advertising... It would be easy to quit and salvage my finances, but I will never quit. I love being a part of the indie world too much. I fell in love with this world nearly a decade ago, and that love has only grown. There will be some changes in 2026, though. There will only be a handful of published books. Besides saving financially, this will allow me to give each book more focus. Marketing never ends, but it helps if you are not juggling multiple books at the same time. The authors deserve success. They have written excellent stories. The forces in the publishing world and the major retailers are always aligned against indies. If it were possible to put the books in front of eyes in person, more books would inevitably be sold. The books are beautiful, and the synopses are gripping. I am actively working on ways to beat the system, but the reality is that it is very difficult. Therefore, I am thinking up new ways to get more books in more hands and give these authors the exposure they deserve.

Also, I will begin working on my memoir/eclectic collection of writing in earnest. My hope is to have this ready to go in 2026. There is a great deal of work ahead of me, but I am feeling ready to take it on. Stay tuned for the weirdness that is coming...
